At Blue Bison Sports, we are a firm believer in corporate citizenship.  Bench-marks.org defines this relatively new term as... “A new contract between business and society, a vision of partnership between different sections of community, which allies profitable companies with healthy communities because what happens to societies happens to business.” (Source: bench-marks.org/glossary.shtml)

We try to build Corporate Social Responsibility into our business plan and honor the so-called triple bottom line of People, Planet, and Profit.  While we are still a young organization, it is just as important to put our customers first.

To show our support for the community, we have been able to provide many baskets for Chinese auctions.  We also collect donations for the Western New York Lacrosse 4 Kids organization and have organized a few give-aways in order to boost donations.

Blue Bison Sports has developed a partnership with the Ireland Lacrosse Foundation, whereby we provide a storefront (free of charge) for their apparel.  100% of our sales go back to the charity.  In our first year of the collaboration, we have provided an outlet which has raised over $1,200.00 for their organization.

Global responsibility is also a focus at our store.  The nature of our products makes it easy to make sales without using plastic shopping bags.  In the few instances where a bag might be needed, we are conscience to ask the customer if they would like a bag rather than automatically providing it to them.  Ultimately, we can envision using reusable cloth bags for these purchases that would simultaneously act as an advertising opportunity for the store.
